Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Head Agus Sulaeman said those RT caretakers were from RW 03, 03 and 04. He stated, the aid was very important for residents in the lowlands and close to the Sunter Riverbank that was often overflowed in the rainy season.

"Its distribution is directly witnessed by East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Hendra Hidayat," he said.

He explained the aid was in the form of 13 units of LED flashlights, 13 units of megaphone, 1,300 medical masks, 2,600 cloth masks and 13 evacuation tires.

"Hopefully residents can take use and take good care of them," he hoped.

"We have wanted this aid for a long time in helping the RT to urge residents to be evacuated when a disaster occurs," he added.
